Eric Clapton - There's One In Every Crowd (1975)

Eric Clapton is a highly influential and successful English guitarist and singer-songwriter.

Eric Clapton had returned to the spotlight with his 1974 album 461 Ocean Boulevard and it's #1 hit cover of Bob Marley's "I Shot The Sheriff". He quickly followed it with another album in the the same style, with the same backing band - There's One In Every Crowd was recorded in Jamaica and came out in 1975, with a similar low-key blues-rock style with moments of reggae. It featured some good original songs alongside another Elmore James cover and a couple of traditional gospel interpretations. It turned out to not be a commercial success like 461 Ocean Boulevard had been, but was arguably just as strong an album.
