Graham Nash - Wild Tales (1973)

Graham Nash is an English singer-songwriter, best known for being a founding member of both The Hollies and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

After his success working as a duo with David Crosby (a successful tour followed by a top 10 album), Graham Nash released his second album as a solo artist in 1973. It largely followed in the footsteps on 1971's Songs For Beginners, but much of it had a slightly darker, harder-edged sound (or as hard-edged as Nash had been to date). Instrumental backing came from drummer Johnny Barbata, bassist Tim Drummond, steel guitarist Ben Keith, and multi-instrumentalist David Lindley (on slide guitar and mandolin), plus some appearances from David Crosby, Neil Young and Joni Mitchell.
It wasn't quite the success that Songs For Beginners had been, getting to just #34 on the album charts.
